Carlos Dunga respira e salva (almeno per il momento) la panchina: il Brasile travolge a domicilio il Cile con un 3-0 che riporta la Seleçao in corsa per i Mondiali del 2010 (che mondiale sarebbe senza Brasile??)
Ma nella classica ottima prestazione di Ronaldinho (con assist annesso), c'è anche un clamoroso errore dal dischetto. Talmente clamoroso che la Gazzetta ha utilizzato il fotogramma dell'errore di Ronaldinho come "foto della settimana", e i telecronisti di Sky hanno commentato con un "anche gli Dei a volte sbagliano". A memoria d'uomo si ricordano forse un paio di errori dal dischetto da parte di Ronaldinho (in oltre 10 anni di carriera da professionista and a 50in rigors of the shoulders).
